Braswell Philosophy Society
The Braswell Philosophy Society is Wake Forest’s student-led philosophy club! We meet each week on Thursdays at 7pm in the Philosophy Library to discuss philosophically inclined questions about life, society, humanity, and culture, and enjoy free food catered from Winston-Salem’s best eateries. Braswell welcomes all Wake Forest students – no philosophy experience is necessary! To join our mailing list and receive weekly meeting invitations detailing the topic and food for the upcoming meeting, click here.
In addition, the society also hosts the Braswell Philosophy Conference each spring to promote the study of philosophy and the idea that everybody is a philosopher. Our conference includes speakers, an undergraduate essay competition, and of course more delicious food. More details about the 2024 conference will be posted here soon.
If you have any questions about the Braswell Philosophy Society, feel free to reach out by email to our executive board!
